If you’re looking for a delicious breakfast and lunch spot, my wife and I highly recommend Treehouse. We’ve been going here over the past 2 years and the food, staff, and environment is consistently amazing. We always feel so welcome and it is one of our go-to spots in Kaslo.

The food here was great and the servings were rather large, which I was pleasantly surprised by. I went with my boyfriend, so I ended up trying four different foods (two different sides and two different mains).Though certainly not bad, I wasn't that impressed by the burger, as it seemed it had too many flavours and they didn't really compliment each other, but someone else could definitely feel differently about that. Everything else however, was amazing, and it was really neat that there were so many different types of foods available, with such good side dishes!I realized that they closed at 3 after already ordering, so when it was already nearing that time when we arrived, I felt rather bad that we were cutting it so close to their closing time. That being said, while we did leave very shortly before 3 nonetheless, none of the staff were in a bad mood or even beginning to rush us to finish our meal (though I would have understood if they had). I found this really nice and it definitely contributed to the positive environment they had created.

The food was nice. It tasted fresh and homemade. I had a cup of the borsht and it was delicious, not the typical borscht of beets, but a veggie mix. The restaurant was clean and fairly quiet even though all the tables were full. The only reason i didn't give it 5 stars was the 2 waitresses were not friendly at all - I didn't feel very welcome.
We came in looking for a reprieve of fatty restaurant food. Ordered the Greek salad (20$), Kaslo quinoa bowl (18$) and a clubhouse sandwich with hash browns (19$). All were great portions and delicious. Really what we needed to feel not so weighed-down. The bowl was especially good and the dressing was amazing. It was presented beautifully and I will be attempting to recreate it at home.
