The food here was great and the servings were rather large, which I was pleasantly surprised by. I went with my boyfriend, so I ended up trying four different foods (two different sides and two different mains).Though certainly not bad, I wasn't that impressed by the burger, as it seemed it had too many flavours and they didn't really compliment each other, but someone else could definitely feel differently about that. The food was nice. It tasted fresh and homemade. I had a cup of the borsht and it was delicious, not the typical borscht of beets, but a veggie mix. The restaurant was clean and fairly quiet even though all the tables were full. The only reason i didn't give it 5 stars was the 2 waitresses were not friendly at all - I didn't feel very welcome.
If you’re looking for a delicious breakfast and lunch spot, my wife and I highly recommend Treehouse. We’ve been going here over the past 2 years and the food, staff, and environment is consistently amazing. We always feel so welcome and it is one of our go-to spots in Kaslo.
