“I had a fantastic time at Kombucha Bar Kelowna a hidden gem for anyone who loves kombucha or is curious to try it for the first time. The tasting experience was top notch. They offer a wide variety of unique and rotating flavors, all brewed in-house with high quality ingredients. Whether you prefer something fruity, floral, or herbal, there’s something for everyone.

The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and super knowledgeable. They took the time to explain the brewing process, the health benefits of kombucha, and gave great recommendations based on our taste preferences. I really appreciated how informative and passionate they were it added a lot to the experience.

The space itself is cozy and inviting, with a clean, modern design that makes you want to hang out and sip for a while. You can try samples before choosing your favorite, and they also offer growler fills and bottles to take home.“

“It doesn't get much better in terms of a dog friendly brewery, very good beer and so nice that furry friends are allowed indoors, especially during the colder months. They even had dog beds you could borrow, honestly amazing. Highly recommend!!“

“We get a pickle pizza whenever it’s available and this one did not disappoint!! Kind and helpful staff, cool beer and quick service. There’s a cute little patio out back and lots of seating inside too.
Overall a super welcoming environment for everyone to enjoy :)

“I was able to snag the last sixer of this at a nearby Vancouver liquor store. They were plumb out otherwise! That says a lot about this beer. It isn’t the big bear we used to drink in the 90s (that was awful compared to this) but the price point is just as good. It certainly isn’t comparable to a warm coors light either. Although I appreciate the fact that the rapidly growing popularity of this craft lager is attracting negative Google reviews already (from Malcolm). My hats off to the brewmaster for that!!

In terms of taste, their lager is absolutely and undoubtedly a craft lager. The only comparable I’ve had is at Tofino Brewery, their lager which is on par with this is equally delicious but very hard to get unless on the island. I love my IPAs and pilsners but there’s something about the taste of an ice cold craft lager in Canada that’s unbeatable, worldwide. Thank you for this Big Bear, it’s why I’ve taken the time to write a nice review. Quick question…do you source the water for this delightful adult beverage from Bear Creek?

Awesome food and service, too. Cyndi is the best - she went out of her way to introduce us to Kelowna’s best brewery. These two West Koot’s dwellers will definitely be back!“

“Absolutely love Rustic Reel! Yummy snacks, great coffee and tea drinks, the staff are lovely, and there is always lotssss of seating! And a rare thing in Kelowna: a parking lot! The indoor seating area is huge and has tons of natural light making it perfect for working on your laptop or having a little date. Their patio is also very spacious and such a treat when the weather is warm. I will always recommend Rustic Reel to anyone looking for good food, beer, AND coffee.“
