We visited tonight with a group of 10 people. Our biggest concern was not that an automatic gratuity was charged—it was that nobody told us about it before we ordered. We only discovered the 20% charge when the bill arrived.
During this trip, our group of 10 has eaten at many restaurants, and whenever a restaurant had an automatic gratuity policy, the staff always informed us when we were seated, usually 15% or 18%. This was the first restaurant that charged 20% without telling us in advance.
If we had been informed upfront, we would have respected the restaurant’s policy. Instead, the lack of transparency left us feeling misled.
Unfortunately, the overall dining experience did not justify a 20% gratuity. The food was below our expectations, service was minimal, and our server appeared unfriendly throughout the meal. When we politely questioned the automatic gratuity, our concerns were simply ignore without any explanation.
We believe restaurants should clearly communicate any mandatory gratuity before customers order, especially when the charge is as high as 20%. Unfortunately, this experience left a very poor impression.
Food is always fresh and tasty, staff is very friendly. One of our go.to spots in Kelowna

Food was delicious. Everything had a special flavor that was new and unique. Most Vietnamese is all the same but this definitely had a special touch. Very delicious.

It use to be my favorite pho restaurant. Not anymore. The spring rolls were over cooked . The broth was salty and it tasted like dirty rags . The beef was very poor quality . I mentioned iit but nothing was done. That was my last visit.

I was referred this place by a co worker that they have amazing food. I am a mexican person, it was my forst time trying vietnamese cuisine and to br honest the sevice here was awful. I was treated so badly by thier servers that i cant express in words. They were rushing things so much that they just wanted us out of there. Honestly I couldn’t enjoy my food as well because of the treatment. I will never come back here again.
I see many people have written that the staff rushes to leave, even when you are still not with the food. That is not a good customer service.
Sorry to say! Your server needs more training on howto handle the customer.

Food was delicious, and staff was extremely kind and accommodating. Had a large party with no reservation and still got top quality service with one of the funniest and nicest servers I have ever experienced. Will most definitely be coming back at the next opportunity.
We have been here several times but tonight will be the last. I asked to sit at a table near the window and was abruptly told, by who I believe was the owner NO it's a table for 6 people not 3. After that she was incredible rude and abrupt to us. The food was awful and I advise no one eat here. There are several good Vietnamese restaurants in Kelowna, this is definitely not one of them

Food is always good. We’re regulars here and have brought friends many times, but today’s visit was frustrating. We waited over 15 minutes with no one taking our order, while three waitresses were free but repeatedly walked past our table without acknowledgment.
