This place used to have the best vegan bento boxes and the most incredible iced oat milk lattes (and I hate oat milk!! Idk what they were using but it was so creamy). They recently did some renovations and were closed for a bit — I wanted to head in for lunch with my husband and called in advance to double check their menu and the guy said they don’t have vegan stuff anymore 🥲
The food was pretty good but the only thing is that all of the food was extremely salty. Service was great and the store is cute, the food was just insanely salty. The service was a little awkward? Our server was a bit awkward and when we walked in we weren't told if we could sit or not so we were just standing in the way looking at the menu by the front till we saw someone sit and apon sitting they got menus.
About three blocks from our home is J's, an unpretentious and cozy cafe. We've tried all their vegan options and none disappoint. Two favourites are the J's Vegan Bento Box, and the Vegan BLT. Owner and staff are friendly and the service is great.
