The new owner is running this restaurant into the ground. I feel so horribly for the servers here. He schedules one server for the entire restaurant, and I have heard that he treats them horribly.

Mamma Lyn wanted a classy night in Italy so we took her to Mamma Rosa Restaurant! Candle light, classic songs and jovial laughter filled the air, Chianti sipped and fresh handmade pasta plated… Viva Italia!
It began as a dream, first gelato shop then that cozy culinary treat serving nonna’s recipes since 1984 when Rosa and Giacomo Anfuso brought their love of Sicily to the beautiful okanagan. Son James joined the vision for many years keeping the tradition alive until passing the torch to Mansor Abrahim (Padova University, Antico Napoletana, Pane Vino) this January. Best local and imported ingredients, fresh chicken and veal with Rosa’s signature recipes and homemade daily sauces, sausages, and pasta- it’s in great hands!

I was super excited to try this place after hearing rave reviews from local friends. Atmosphere is charming and service was wonderful; unfortunately, the actual meal itself was just okay. Our party didn't feel that the quality of the food justified the very high prices. On top of that, the added mushrooms were listed as $5 on the menu but we were charge $6.99 to add mushrooms on both bills at our table. The service was remarkable and so we didn't bother bringing it up but we were pretty shocked ($7 for some mushrooms!?). I'd give it another try but, considering the prices, we expected a much higher quality from the food - perhaps it was an 'off' night.

First time coming here excellent customer service. I asked for a pasta i wanted to try the chef came out personally to ask and figure out what dish i wanted. And made me a custom dish ! Off menu. Absolutley amazing, solid home run. Pasta was delicous!!!!. Ill be back for sure.

All I can say is wow the food was amazing the service was 11/10 I come from an Italian family and that food brought me back home! Prices are a little high yes but TOTALLY WORTH IT!! Will be back again!

I dont usually leave a bad review but I went last Friday and was excited to eat there. I ordered the most expensive dish on the menu and was expecting a good meal. My ceaser salad was not fresh and tasted like it had been sitting out for hour's and my veal pomedore was very bland and was average at best. I've always enjoyed it there. I feel it might have changed hands. Restaurant was very empty and meal was not up to their past standards.
I’ve been to mamma Rosa a few times I loved the decor and the painting ready represented the authenticity of the place the food was amazing ordering a pescatarian pasta which tastes amazing the service was great the workers are super nice would 100% recommend coming here!!
