I recently moved to Kelowna from Vancouver and was excited to keep enjoying New York Fries, but the service at this location has been disappointing. There’s one male employee who is consistently rude. Normally, I order veggie fries. If I ever forget to request extra veggies at the counter, he refuses to add them later, even though it doesn’t cost extra. He also seems stingy with the sour cream, barely adding any and then refusing to give more with the same response: “You should have asked at the counter.” It’s frustrating, and this poor service is starting to ruin what used to be a favorite place of mine.

Today no straws and the seasoning salt was damp and clumpy. I already go to Orange Julius for my hot dog I guess I will start buying my drink there too. Putting your pop in a milk carton is okay bit don’t expect me to drink from what is obviously a hole made for straw.

Fresh fries per order. I’ve probably had 1000 poutines in my lifetime and I’d give it a 8/10. Fries could use a little seasoning salt and would be nice to have it topped with green onions. Gravy was decent. Just my opinion

Worst money I've spent 38 dollars for the cold stale fries and the equivalent of a 3 dollar hotdog. Never again. Just go to a&w for way better value. It dosent matter how fancy they say the food is and all the ingredients etc.. it's a waste. Spend your money elsewhere

Visited Kelowna and tried "Fries with The Works" at New York Fries in the food court. Great choice! Perfect as a lunch - the fries, veggies and toppings were all fresh and it was filling without being heavy. After lunch I continued through the mall, then realized I didn't have my bag of purchases with me! I panicked! Started retracing my steps, and there it was behind the counter at New York Fries. Not only delicious food, but lovely, good people! Gave "Atmosphere " 5 stars because I didn't want to penalize their review with a lower rating just because it's a Food Court. The Court is loud and busy - it's a Food Court, though very clean! Definitely will visit again when I'm in Kelowna!

I love this place! The food is always good, and the service is awesome. Simran is always kind and friendly, and ready with a smile no matter how busy it is. Meet is outgoing and stops to say hi. I keep going back because of the great service!
Vegetarian options: Most menu choices are vegetarian! But they are not posted that way. Many options, plus the staff have many helpful suggestions.
Dietary restrictions: One of the few places our entire family can eat at due to multiple allergies, sensory and texture issues. Various sized servings available.
Kid-friendliness: The staff are very family oriented. Simran always asks how my children are doing and will talk to my children if they are with me.
Wheelchair accessibility: Automatic opening exterior doors (no button required). Easy accessible counter, wide aisles, and the staff will go out of their way to make the experience a positive one.
