“We both had really good meals here. Very tasty with good portions. We were both surprised we were able to finish our meals and especially me as I had my first pint of Guinness there that I have had in thirty years! It was great and much better than I remember them. It must have been a fresh one served through very clean pipes!“

“Good menu selection . Great happy hour over the dinner period, which is rare. Any size wine is half price... which is usually so expensive else where. Service was very good. Food was good but I wished I had asked for dressing on the side. It was quite heavy. Calamari was tasty and plentiful but very small rings.“

“This evening at Brown’s, we had the most wonderful time, as alway! It’s our regular spot! This evening a lovely young fellow by the name of Jack, took care of us. He was exceptional! Welcoming, friendly, and kind right from the start. As the evening progressed, he continued to be genuine, funny, thoughtful, and great to have a conversation with. “Suzy and Jen are absolutely amazing! ❤️ I visited the pub once on a first date, and the person I was with told Jen he’d like to pay for my drinks. Suzy, looking out for my well-being, mentioned to Jen that I had just met him and suggested she check with me first to make sure I was comfortable. Jen then approached me discreetly and kindly asked if I was okay with it.

This thoughtful gesture went above and beyond anything I’ve experienced at any other establishment, and I imagine most women haven’t either. These two incredible ladies made me feel safe and respected, and that truly stood out.

“As I stayed at the hotel that this venue is associated with, I went down for a pint to enjoy happy hour. To my dismay they had no draft beer as advertised so I had to order a bottle of beer. I wasn't even offered a small discount due to the bars lack of supplies. The place is clean and enjoyable.“

“Always fantastic. Shot darts with the boys the other night and had good food, drinks and service.
I will say that their dart boards are in need of replacement but that doesn't take anything away from the 5 stars.

“During my older son’s hockey game my younger son and I went into Boomers to grab a hot chocolate. The young fellow at the bar helped take our order and he was so pleasant to deal with we ended up ordering some food as well. The GF pizza was hot and tasty. No dry crust. My son’s burger and fries were good as well. Overall service was excellent and the food came out quickly. Definitely will be back. Looks like the new management is doing a great job.“

“Love just Comjng up to Wings, and Just enjoying a Molson Canadian and some Wings can never go wrong with their WINGS… and just love sitting their at the Bar watching my Canucks games and or other NHL games, Really going to enjoy this time of year and forward S NHL playoffs are here but Canucks didn’t make it so it’s Go Maple Leafs Go and come an have a beer and wings watch some playoff hockey and enjoy, plus it’s not that far away from my house just a quick Walk there and quick walk Home down to Theodora Road near the Market on the corner… and I will be coming up Tonight have some beers and I’ll also be coming up Friday and Saturday night for hockey 🥅, Why be alone and watch playoff hockey when I can go to Wings and have bite to eat and some Beers … go out meet some people while beers go down.“
