Disappointing...the blizzards were more like milkshakes and barely any toppings at the bottom. They never do the upsidide down flip...probably because they know they would have a big mess to clean up. Do yourself a favor and just go across the street to McDonald's for a McFlurry.

This is one of the only DQ’s on Vancouver Island that still tastes like how it did when I was a kid. One of the last of its kind in my opinion.
Thank you Aditya for the amazing experience and all that you do; your staff are kind and very polite.

I went to this location a few years ago- had the worst experience ever… but tried again last weekend and had the best made blizzard ever!! I will definitely be back now
For a fast food restaurant, it's not too bad most days. But it's fast food, if you want a good meal go to a good restaurant

The staff are the core. They really do their best, even short staffed and manning only cold items with what looked like 2 people.
They provided quick service and fantastic customer service.

This location is decent when it is quiet, but as soon as it gets busy the quality of their food and service drastically decreases. Last time I had gone through the drive through, I was stuck behind one woman for 20 minutes. By the time I got my blizzards (that I spent almost $20 for) they were completely melted. My baby was screaming so didn't have time to ask for new ones.

4 piece chicken strip on the menu shows a picture with gravy in the middle, has always come with gravy. Well it did not come with gravy, and when I asked for it was told it did not come with gravy. The manager threw a $20 bill at me and yelled at me to get out of there! So they gave me $7,50 extra instead of just giving me the 75 cent gravy. Such bad attitude and bait and switch. Change the picture of it does not come with it anymore! Or are you too cheap for a sticker to cover it? Manager should be fired for how she handled this!

Ladysmith Dairy Queen just called me a liar! I am so hurt to be treated like this.
Thursday I bought a cake for Criag's birthday the next day. Had a small family gathering Friday night for dinner, and the grandkid's favorite part a birthday cake. I served it to the kids first and they dug right into it. As the adults started to eat it we noticed there was something wrong. The chocolate part of the cake tasted sour. We stopped the kids from eating anything more and threw away the served portions and kept what was left to take back.
I took it back the following day and was very rudely told she could do nothing about it and the manager would call me. She took the cake, and I went home.
Monday, I had still not heard from anyone, so I popped in after work. I spoke with the very nice assistant manager, and he said he would go upstairs and talk to the manager. He came back and said the manager had decided that since I never brought back all the cake, they couldn't do anything. So, in other words the manager doesn't think I am telling the truth. The manager would not come out and talk to me and I wasn't about to take it out on the assistant manager that did not make the decision so I could do no more. There went $40 into the garbage and a birthday party with no cake!
I cannot believe this is the kind of customer service the manager thinks is ok. I have lived in Ladysmith for 30+ years and have never been so insulted by a local business.
I will never step foot in the place and will continue to tell this story.
Please share this for me and let me know if you have had a bad experience with them.
I will also be writing a letter to corporate office.
After sending this review it told me to go to https://bit.lyl2FuhYFG which takes you to a site that is unavailable. Not surprised!

I don't know, it just doesn't seem to taste the way it used to and the price is so much higher than it used to be. Fast food and blizzards are mostly a thing of the past for me. I would rather spend my limited eating out budget on better food.

The blizzards we got were good. The service was great. 2 things, though. 1st, make sure that the blizzards are full because if they aren't, it is disturbing the amount someone pays for 3 blizzards, and they aren't even to the top. 2nd, I thought there was an upside down rule to show how good they are. That didn't happen either. Just put them on the counter.
Parking: The parking is plenty full but the handicap parking is horrible. The spots are regular sized, so take up 2 spots if you can if you have a wheelchair to get out. It's just a bit of a suggestion for people who need it.

Really disappointed placed order received the wrong size blizzard, told the guy and he proceeded to just add more ice cream no extra toppings so was mainly ice cream and about 5 cookie dough pieces! Extremely disappointed.

Two stars is a bit generous here honestly. From the cramped, awkward parking lot to the cold chicken in my wrap, this was not an experience I'm excited to relive anytime soon.
