My wife and I had dinner with friends last night at Beatniks. I had the special, Steak Frites. My wife had a seafood dish with pasta. My meal was excellent and one of our friends had the same meal. Mine was medium rare, and his was medium. Mine was done as I asked, and I could see my friend cutting his, and clearly it was more cooked and looked like he asked for it. Their chef knew how to cook the meat. My wife's dish was large, and will be having a very nice lunch today....
We hosted our company holiday party here and it was exceptional. The service was absolutely spectacular. Both the General Manager and our waitress were so friendly and attentive to our group. We were a big group and they communicated the flow of the evening to all of our guests (e.g., start with cocktails and appetizers, dessert will be served as platters for our group, etc). Easily the best restaurant in Fort Langley and worth the drive from Vancouver. We always enjoy the chai latte, french onion soup, beef dip, and all of their seafood dishes. Don't skip out on their dessert too.
