I order all my cakes from Cedarbrook Bakery. I love the taste of their sponge and their icing is not too sweet. They also don't use too much icing on their creations. Their custom cakes are fun & cute. My go to order is vanilla sponge, vanilla icing and chocolate fudge between layers. I get so many compliments whenever I serve or bring a Cedarbrook cake somewhere. They are very reasonably priced for how delicious and large their cakes are. They always execute my ideas and exceed my expectations. So glad to support this local bakery.

Cedarbrook Bakery is truly a gem in the community. The staff are absolutely amazing – always warm, welcoming, and they make every visit feel like you’re part of the family. Their deli has become a weekly stop for us, with a fantastic selection that never disappoints. One of the highlights of visiting is how thoughtful they are with kids; every time we come in, they offer my son a cookie, and without fail he goes straight for the chocolate chip. It’s those small, genuine touches that set Cedarbrook apart. Great food, great people, and a place that makes you feel right at home.

Saw review on Google and ordered Cake! It was horrible, stale and had a weird smell! It was a birthday cake and it was very embarrassing for us when the cake smelled and tasted stale and funny! Will not recommend and just not cool

The prices are a touch high for my liking about a dollar or more per hundred grams in some cases compared to competitor Delis in Langley. The service was very friendly at the bakery counter no one seemed to be working at the deli counter when I went in.

I called the store to ask if they had pre-made cakes and specifically inquired about tiramisu. They confirmed they had tiramisu available, so I decided to purchase one. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the worst cake I have ever had. The frosting was bit frozen, giving it an icy texture and taste, and the cake itself was tough and unpleasant to eat. Overall, the quality was far below expectations and extremely disappointing.

I ordered a custom carrot cake from this bakery for a very special Birthday celebration. My request was to increase the amount cream cheese in the frosting and reduce the buttercream to add more flavour and less sweetness. After tasting the individual piece, there was very little cream cheese tasted, which is what enhances the taste of a carrot cake. I also requested to increase the frosting as the ratio of frosting to cake was low. They agreed to these modifications and confirmed the baker would call me if there were any questions. The baker never called and the cake looked beautiful when I picked it up, but as soon as we went to serve it at the celebration I was appalled at how terrible the cake tasted. The frosting had NO cream cheese taste at all (even the individual slice I tried prior to ordering had more cream cheese taste) and it was so sweet it was inedible. The amount of frosting on the cake was over-the-top and we couldn't even cut the cake without it completely falling apart. I returned to the bakery and expressed my dissatisfaction. As a baker, I would have expected they would taste their product (especially if modifications are made) before delivering such a poorly made cake. I received a call from Jill and she dismissed my dissatisfaction and said they followed the directions provided. They definitely lost a customer.

Decent bakery. Didn't blow my socks off. I asked about some ingredients used in the making of the baked goods because my partner has some intolerance and they had no information or no desire to help with that. Otherwise the staff wad friendly and helpful.
This place was recommended to me and I had high expectations, but when I went in today I was so disappointed! The pastries displayed all looked old and stale. Not so much choice either. I got cookies and they were so stale and hard, it felt like chewing a block of sugar. They went in the garbage. The loaves of bread were also old and when I tasted the cheese bread at home it was so weirdly sweet and dry. I assumed everything on the shelves was fresh but the cookies were packaged FIVE days ago and were sold at full price. I feel robbed honestly. Only positive note is that the workers there were really nice.

The sell 3 day old bread for full price and not much to choose from! All bread and buns were few days old! I miss the old owners the had way better quality and fresh! Even the small desert cakes were not fresh it tasted old ! Will never go back to this bakery!
