My friends arrived before me and waitress harassed them continuously. When I arrived she ignored us for 25 minutes but glared at us every time she swept past us to attend to others. My friend then went to the manager. We were quickly attended to. 20 minutes j k after our food arrived cold and cokes were flat. My chicken soup was hot and delicious. I ordered senior country fried steak. Came cold it I ate around half. We then waited and waited together the bill. I paid but left a measly tip. I had planed to leave .50 but finger slipped and she got 5.00. She did nit deserve anything. A tip is for good service. She was rude and surly and I’m sure left the prepared food under warning lights for at least half if the 20+ minutes we waited. Within a few hours of getting home I became very ill and spent the night beside the toilet. I was to leave on vacation at .6 am and wasn’t sure I was going to make it. The manager gave us da discount for the poor service but looking at other reviews a new attitude and different wait staff would be a great improvement. I intend to speak to head office about this the day I arrive home from planned vacation. The first few days I stuck to clear fluids as I wasn’t sure my poor stomach could handle the dress of digestion
I can’t be positive but the rudeness of the waitress was because if a bias toward mentally challenged people. Must of our group are not challenged but several were obviously challenged and because of that were treated very poorly thinking they wouldn’t know the difference. That bias alone even if everything else had been good (which it wasn’t) was disgraceful. An attitude change is desperately needed by a waitress that could have been discriminated herself because of a bias.
Denny’s used to value family, good food, a fair price. They need to go back to basics. Sandman hotel chain itself needs to check out their tenants before they themselves become tainted with the same brush and lose business because of their association

Vegetarian options: The menu has many diet friendly offerings.

Parking: Restaurant is situated in a Sandma’s hotel and because of that association the parking was available that afternoon

Kid-friendliness: There are high chairs and a kid friendly menu. I believe there was a play at tea as well

Wheelchair accessibility: The handicap parking is right out front but as usual not available this afternoon. I don’t remember if there was an automatic opener as a stranger opened the door for me and my walker.

Came for my mother’s birthday. Poor service, constantly trying to wave someone down for a refill. Food was typical Denny’s. I was served a dirty glass with old lipstick on it(see photo).

Good food and good service while eating but then never came with our bill. We were seated in a quieter area which was great with our toddler. As mentioned above our waiter disappeared for a long time when we wanted to pay and daughter was getting antsy then we noticed we could pay online which we did. Then when we went to leave the waiter came fast walking towards us so told him we paid. Funny how he only wanted to pay attention to us when he thought we were leaving without paying.

We always come here for their delicious breakfast and good service. I especially love that I can customize my meals. The staff that serve us between 5-6 am is accommodating and friendly.

We've came here many times before when it's busy but thebfood quality has always been great
Today on the other hand service was slow and forgetful food was poor quality mine and my wife's bacon was burnt the food was cold the breakfast poutine was like a runny soup

Bathroom was excellent. The air pressure of the hand dryer was immaculate and perfect, and the paper towel dispenser was a dream that gave an appropriate amount of paper per swipe versus a lot of these other dispensers that give you a minimal amount. I was grandly impressed with the speed at which the soap dispenser sent out their foam and we had no issue with the sensor. The only qualm we have with this brilliant establishment’s restroom is the droplets of water upon the floor. The splatters were reasonable in volume, however, and understandable in quantity.

It was fine. Food was fine. Portions were fine. Nothing really stands out. Service could be better even though it wasn't busy, saw only 2 staff, but still have to flag them to get a coffee refill. The prices are much higher than you would expect for a restaurant like Denny's 😒

Denny’s is a good option on a budget. This location however is worn out, old & dirty. The booths are filthy & window sills are packed in dirt. A deep clean is required. You will not get a coffee refill without having to track down an employee.

FIRST THING I DID WHEN I GOT THERE WAS USE THE WASHROOM. IT WAS GROSS SO I NOTIFIED A STAFF MEMBER THAT IT NEEDED ATTENTION. I WENT AGAIN BEFORE I LEFT AND IT HAD NOT BEEN ATTENDED TO. I AM A BELIEVER IN "IF YOU WANT TO KNOW HOW CLEAN THE KITCHEN IS, JUST LOOK AT HOW CLEAN THE BATHROOM IS". I USED TO WORK IN KITCHENS AND IT IS PRETTY ACCURATE. THE CARPETS NEED CLEANED

AAANYWAYS, I GOT A GROSS TOMATO IN MY SALAD AND THE SALAD DRESSING WAS PRETTY AWFUL. THE REST OF THE FOOD WAS NOT BAD THOUGH. MY CHICKEN AND BACON WERE GOOD. THE COFFEE WAS NOT BAD. THERE IS A LOT TO IMPROVE ON HERE BUT IT WILL FEED YOU AND YOU (PROBABLY) WON'T DIE
