I came to this place during an insane caffeine rush with a massive sushi craving. Food was delicious and inexpensive, the staff are super friendly and they have cool jazz music playing ? I will be back!

Listen i usually dont like writing a bad review for a restaurant but when i do is because i have to, not only did the service suck and the miso soup was cold. Two of the people i came with got the same plate but one of them didn’t bring the stuff that said in the picture while the other one did so the server instead of offering another one took the food out of one of the plates and put it in the other. I have been to hundreds of Japanese restaurants and this is the first time where a place served overcooked katsu don. Hear me out when i say this but try to skip this restaurant if you are in the area there are other better options.

Recent found this gem. The food is fresh and really well cooked (for what is cooked). I find it had to believe that the food can taste so much better then everywhere else, even though the menu seems pretty standard.Fantastic all around.

The service was bad, the server taking our order stopped halfway and started walking away and helping other people it took a good 5 minutes for her to come back to our table and let us finish ordering. the server came up to our table and asked if we ordered one of the rolls she had in her hand we said yes we did, she proceeded to look confused and started to walk away with our food… what I presumed the owner told her to come back with our sushi. After we got our sushi the portion sizes were TINY. Don’t order sashimi here unless you want it brought to your table frozen in the middle. Terrible place and won’t be going back.

My favourite sushi in the fort! I’ve been going here for years and I love sushi so much! My favourite bubble tea is the passion green tea with mango and pearls. They are fast everything is always prepared perfectly and consistently!

I love Sushi Ichi! It's tough for me to go for sushi anywhere else because they've spoiled me (& I currently live in Vancouver). The food is always incredibly fresh & they have a delicious array of items on the menu. I appreciate that they have simple rolls as well as some fun, creative ones; I find a lot of places disguise lack of quality with an abundance of sugary sauces and toppings. Everything here is delicious, well prepared, and fresh (one time I ordered tuna sashimi & was informed the chef had turned away the tuna that day due to quality, & in my experience, this is reflected in all levels of their menu from rice to proteins.) The service is fantastic, and you can tell this family-owned business puts so much care into what they do. Highly, highly recommend!Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian rolls that are absolutely delicious! They also offer a wide array of vegetables in their mixed tempura appetizerKid-friendliness: The restaurant is set up to be family friendly, and there are various menu items suitable for kids

We chanced upon this restaurant when we were walking around Fort Langley. We were hungry and this was the closest restaurant to where we were at that time. We love Japanese food so we decided to try it out. We tried one of their Bento Boxes. Food was tasty, ingredients were fresh and the price great specially in a touristy area. Place has good ambiance and very homey. Service was great. We left with a bubble tea on hand and we promised ourselves we would be back. Being creatures of habit when we find a place we like, we keep coming back, this is now our go to Japanese Restaurant. We don’t mind driving from our home in North Burnaby, in 30 minutes maybe even less, we are here. We have since met the owners Peggy & Louis, a very lovely couple. We will always keep coming back to enjoy their food and chat with Peggy & Louis. So if you are ever in Fort Langley, please try this restaurant, we highly recommend it, you will not be disappointed.
