“I recently tried a Chicken Donair from Donair City, and it turned out to be a memorable experience. What immediately caught my attention was the sheer size—these are hands down the biggest donairs in Maple Ridge, and they’re packed generously from end to end.

The chicken itself was moist, flavourful, and clearly marinated with care. It had that perfect balance you hope for: full of seasoning without being salty, juicy without being greasy. Their vegetable spread was bright and fresh, and I loaded mine with onions and tomatoes—each adding its own texture and punch of flavour.

Even though I didn’t get the proprietor’s name, the service was warm, attentive, and downright welcoming. There’s a sense of pride in how the food is put together—nothing rushed, nothing skimpy.

What stood out most to me was the consistency of their marination and the care put into the overall flavour profile. Every bite tasted intentional. The specialty of this Donair was that it had its consistency akin to something pan seared and bbq flame grilled taste.

If you’re in Maple Ridge and craving something satisfying, filling, and well-made, Donair City deserves a spot at the top of your list. I’ll definitely be going back.“

“We’ve been coming to Lazeez Pizza & Kebab House for a long time, since they only had pizza and wraps. This halal branch is excellent! Their menu has expanded and everything tastes delicious, especially the pizzas, kebabs, and baklava. The service is always great, prices are reasonable, and the owner Ahmad is very kind and welcoming. Highly recommended! 😊“
