We love Moku!! Our family grew up going to Hawaii every year, and we no longer visit the islands but we sure do long for island food from time to time. This place fills all our needs perfectly! We had galbi bbq ribs SOOO GOOD the veggies underneath was good too but there was some big cabbage pieces were undercooked a tiny bit, the carrots were scrumptious however. The Mac salad was delicious as well, and pairs really good with the galbi or any meat to take away from the heaviness of the food. Service was quick efficient and nice too! And the washroom was super cute, great place to lay waste!
I would have given this place 4 or maybe even 5 stars but something was seriously wrong with our Kalbi. It was brutally tough. We ordered two platters yesterday and everything else was super tender and seasoned / sauced excellent. The ribs were covered in a delicious sauce but were tough as nails, though. My wife said they were so tough that it hurt her teeth to try and pull the meat off the bone. Such a huge shame to do something like that to such a good cut of meat.
