Arguably the best Laotian/ Thai restaurant not just in Vancouver area but Canada, it’s as Authentic as it gets. No dimming of flavours at all. I wish I were still in Langley to get the laab one last time.

Food has changed here. Used to be excellent
Sausage was overcooked dry and shrunk to half the size they used to serve. Beef dish was tiny

I came with my family and ordered pad Thai, Mama's Tom Yum, and crispy rice lettuce wraps. The crispy rice lettuce wraps were tasty and flavorful but we found the pad Thai too sweet and saucy. It was probably the worst pad Thai we've ever tasted and we didn't end up eating it. It was way too sweet and nothing like how pad Thai should be. After having the tom yum we all felt kind off from eating it because it was quite heavy and sweet as well.
The service was incredibly slow here as they brought each dish out one by one. The restaurant was less than half filled but everything took a while to come out of the kitchen.
We will likely will not be returning.

Highly recommend! Food tastes great, and portion size is generous. Good service, nice ambiance, and the metal soup spoons are reminiscent of the food stalls in Thailand.

2nd review: the flavours are all there - rich and robust. Portions are still on the smaller side, but presentation is nice and food is decent. Ambience and service is great. Although I wouldn't come here often, I would come here once in awhile since it's the only Lao restaurant in the lower mainland.

1st review: The flavours are alright. The portion is smaller and doesn't justify the price. The ambience is nice.

The papaya salad tasted like fermented vinegar, the sausage was weird and the jerky was not good. I suppose it's an acquired taste. I went with my sister and her mate.. they ordered a bunch of appetizers which they shared with me as I could not eat my dinner. The appetizers were good. It's rare that I don't take a doggie bag home but I left my $32.00 dinner on the table

We were looking for a Thai place close to the hotel we were staying at in Langley, and we came across Naka Bistro and decided to try it out. There is ample parking, and the location of the restaurant was not in a busy area. The ambiance is classy and quiet, with authentic decoration to Thailand and Laos. The staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful. Now, the food. The food was very delicious! Great portion sizes and priced in the mid-range area. If we lived in the area, I'd definitely return. Would highly recommend!

Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options and if there is a meat-dish you want as a veggie dish, the restaurant can substitute with tofu, and/or will not cook the dish with meat.

Parking: Adjacent parking lot to the front of the restaurant.

Kid-friendliness: As a dining establishment, I would say it is kid-friendly. If you're looking for games and bright colors, then this place does not have that. But, the restaurant is welcoming to all.

Wheelchair accessibility: The parking lot and restaurant is wheelchair accessible, but the washroom did not seem like it had a lot of room to maneuver around easily.
