“Manjit, the owner, (I asked his name before we left) was super kind and generous with us. We had just come back from a difficult and emotional trip to the Okanagan, and I had heard about the Snack Shop before.

My two young adult kids were with me. It was early evening, just before closing, and we managed to get three samosas and a hot dog. We sat to eat them and decided the samosas were so good that we wanted more. I went to get them and he had just started closing up shop. BUT he stopped me from walking away, and said, come around back, and we got some more! He gifted them to us, and I cannot tell you how much we needed that bit of kindness.

I highly recommend stopping here whenever you drive the Coquihalla. It's a great place to stop for a snack, to rest from driving and some good old fashioned kindness.“
