View is spectacular. The menu is the same for lunch and dinner and very limited if you don't eat beef or seafood/fish. With few sound absorbing qualities, it was very noisy. Service was hit and miss, but the food was good.

Scenic Dining with Delicious Food
Bennett Bay Bistro is an amazing spot to stop and dine, especially if you can sit outside overlooking the sea. The location is stunning, surrounded by rocks and calm waters, making for a serene and beautiful dining experience.
The food and service were both great. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed. We ordered the French Dip Handheld with truffle fries, and both were delicious—the dip, in particular, was outstanding. If you’re in the area, this is definitely a place worth visiting for the views and the food.

We were staying at the resort so got takeout for dinner. We could tell the place was busy as many came to dine here every day. We got the Wharf burger, Beef Dip, and Calimari Salad. Paid $4 extra per meal to sub fries for the chowder. Everything tasted amazing! The beef dip and calamari were outstanding.
Nice view, food we ordered was tasty. Unfortunately we were wanting some seafood on our night out to dinner on Mayne Island and were told they were out of stock of about half the menu… this limited our choices of what food we could order. We originally had chosen the seafood chowder and seafood bowl but had to change this as they were out. Service was quite slow, but once we got the food we ordered it was tasty and nice view from the patio overall.

The first night out, the staff were abrupt and acted like they didn't want to serve us. Took us to our table, threw the menus on the table, and walked away. After getting our food, the staff kept coming around asking if we were done and tried taking our plates (that still had food on them) several times. One of our party members still had their cutlery in hand and was talking to us when the staff came and picked up her plate to take it away. She had to let her know she was still eating! 2nd night, mid meal was asked if we wanted "to go" containers!Then came back several times to see if we were done. It wasn't busy, either night. Don't get me wrong, the food was very good. The staff just needs to learn the proper way to interact with clientele. I don't want to say it's due to race, but no one else was treated like this from what I observed.

We love this restaurant. The view is unbeatable, the food is scrumptious and plentyful, and there is a wide selection. The staff are a huge asset as they are very friendly and work really hard. The prices are also very good. We visit Mayne Island every year and the Bennett Bay Bistro is our go to for lunch or dinner every day.

Staff shortage made for a bit of a wait but the food was excellent. Wish I could have stayed for the evening meal, but sadly the ferry was calling and I had to return to reality, I will be returning to the island again.

Loved this place! My wife has celiacs and all but a couple of things were gluten free or could be made gluten free. The food was delicious. With all the selections I thought I could eat here every night choosing a different meal every night. I had Dave's steak sandwich which was probably the best steak sandwich I have ever had! Our server for 3 meals was Tiana and she was excellent! Run off her feet but still very attentive. Our server on the last night was Shay and she was excellent as well! I really think Dave should give these girls a raise!
