It was the best Rueben (with goulash soup) I ever had and the others breakfasts were equally perfect. Wonderful atmosphere, friendly service, and great food.

We had a tomato and bacon sandwich with the pullpork soup. Both were excellent and the soup was a new flavor I had never had. Well worth the stop and the atmosphere is very bright and homey. A must stop in mcbride.

What a great experience. From the people who work there to the tasty food, exceptional. A must for anyone traveling through and wanting to stretch their legs and get an "everything homemade" bite to eat.
Also a working train station with a lovely gift shop.

What a place! We just finished our breakfast from B&B and that was delicious! My bf had Reuben sandwich and he said it was the best he has ever had! I got the brekafast bagel and it was loaded and so yummy!
Totally worth a stop when you enter, it ´s like coming into grandpas/grandma's kitchen, not an ordinary bistro, really nice atmosphere and nice locals.
Thank you!

Stopped here to have lunch on August 27. Met at the door with a rude response and stare. All patrons quit their conversations. Couldn’t possibly have felt more unwelcome. Left and went down the street to Welcome Gifts and Cafe and enjoyed friendly service. If you are a tourist do not go to the B2B.

The waitress was very unfriendly and arrogant. She said that you can pay with American dollars. Only at the checkout she said that the currency exchange rate is 1:1, so we had to walk 10 minutes at 34 degrees to the bank to withdraw money. When we spoke to her objectively about it and told her that usually at least a 10% exchange rate discount is offered (25% were accurate) she said „congratulations to the other place“ and that it was still not possible here. Absolute cheekiness!

Cash only! They take US Dollars, but at a 1:1 exchange rate which was not stated before we ordered. The server reacted very arrogantly when we told her that this is not fair for the customers to rip them off on exchange rates.

Best turkey sandwich ever, and a surprise in our takeout bag of superb home made potato salad. We also received excellent tour guide help and information about getting up McBride Peak. Thank you to all there.

What a fatastic way to start a day visiting this great place!!! We wanted to take a coffee and move on but the place was so nice that we stayed for almost 1h to have really good coffee and a fantastic breakfast. The owners are so friendly and put their heart into their business. Would love to come back one day!!!
