I have never in my life waited such an absurd amount of time for one coffee...there was no line, employees were standing around doing nothing, 20 mins to make a mocha. Reminded me while I never go to Starbucks anymore.

There were 4 cars in the drive thru and it took over half hour… then you’re trapped in the drive thru and can’t get out… absolutely wild.

Experience was horrible. Asked for a black coffee, not only did they try to hand me kombucha but they gave me a lukewarm black coffee!!! Outrageous and concerning, what is going on with the world. Everything is going to crap and I feel like im losing control. I just want a HOT black coffee. Why can’t you do this correctly. Merritt USED to be great back in the day, we’re talking the 80’s. Now it’s a crumb of why it was, lost all its soul and desire.

As a big fan of Starbucks I usually try to get a coffee at least 3 to 4 times a week while working in Merritt. Unfortunately the drive-thru is 90% of the time closed and they close at 2:00 now. Not sure what's going on but the hours and the drive-thru have been declining for over a year now. The staff is very friendly and that's why it's a three-star. Just too bad to see the company not able to hire enough people to run it I guess? Or is it something else with ownership? We'll see if it survives.

Rude unfriendly staff that rush drinks. Most of the time my orders messed up and the drink is spilt on the cup not worth the money.

It’s crazy that they can’t keep both sides of the store open. Drive through is open and lobby is closed, or lobby is open and drive through is closed. Hours constantly being reduced, only open until 2pm now. Guess my business is going to the other local shops now, feels like a management issue in not being able to get staff.

Was there today at 2:15 and doors were locked. Workers still back there doing things. Suppose to be open until 3. This place is going to crap.
What Starbucks is closed at 2 and has basically permanently closed the drive though? Yea Merritt. Mis managed
Terrible experience at this café. I arrived at my bus stop and ordered a drink, but it was never served. The staff seemed disorganized and slow, as if they didn't know what they were doing. I approached them to ask about my drink, explaining that my bus was leaving in a few minutes, but they showed no interest or urgency. The person in charge seemed confused and didn't know how to handle the situation, despite the café being nearly empty. The service was very poor, with unfriendly and seemingly untrained staff.
I ended up leaving without my drink, and paid for something I never received - and had even left a tip, to make matters worse. 😕

This place is never open completely. Either their drive thru is closed and store is open then it is insanely packed. Or the drove thru is open and store is closed and it’s packed. And the mobile app is never open. They should just shut down if they can’t give good service.
You can tell management is the problem here… the baristas do what they can with the minimal staff on hand. No fault to them. Tried this pace several times doesn’t open early no more, drive thru is closed and even app ordering has been down a lot of times…

I stopped by this Starbucks after a long drive . The main entrance was closed, so I walked to the drive-thru to grab a coffee. Even though I had my Semi truck parked nearby, they refused to serve me because I wasn’t in a car. They said go to another coffee shop As a truck driver who delivers for everyone, that felt really unfair. Sometimes we just need a quick coffee break, not more hassle. Staff should show more understanding .

Great service! Great barista! I've probably had over 20 custom fraps from over a dozen Starbucks and this one sticks out as the best one. Perfectly crafted!
