As an Aussie travelling Canada for the first time, I had never heard of a Nainaimo Bar (I'm so glad I now have!) 🤩 ...Bocca Cafe have a huge selection of both traditional and specialty flavours, though if you're like us and come near the end of the day, be prepared for many of the fancier flavours to already be sold out (proof of how good they must have been!). Nanaimo location: excellent BLT with avocado sandwich. Very fresh ingredients. Best sandwich I’ve had in a long time! Nice seating outside.
I wanted to find the best Nanaimo bar in Nanaimo and this place is a contender for that title. I tried the blackberry lavender bar. It had a nice light crust with a generous layer of filling and chocolate on top. The iced pina colada matcha was also a refreshing twist on the usual iced matcha flavours. Worth checking out!!!
