I just ate the best chicken I've had in years. It was cooked perfectly and fresh out of the fryer. I had mine to go but while waiting for it to cook i did note that the interior is showing it's age. The staff was friendly and cheerful. I most definitely did not regret this meal, I will be back.

When it comes to chicken in Nanaimo, nothing really compares to Lee’s Chicken. It has earned a reputation as one of the best spots in town, not only for the quality of its food but also for the welcoming atmosphere and consistently excellent service. Girl in drive thru was nice until I realized the order was wrong. I asked for a 6 piece strip meal with a root beer and wedges. She said ok drive thru. I paid 30 something dollars and thought… why so expensive? Got my bag and asked her where the root beer was. She said family meal doesn’t come with a drink. I said I ordered a root beer in the order.
