some things I dislike are as follows
- being on a time limit, to order, pay and take my food
- having my food pretty much thrown at me (I had a sandwich thrown into my hands that flew into my passenger seat and exploded everywhere without an apology or replacement.
- not being able to add onto orders once the order has been placed
- I miss the original donut and food options, things are getting fancy without the flavor.

Used to LOVE Tims! Service and availability of products has gone downhill. Went for an XL steeped tea tonight 6:45 pm, to get me through the night. Unfortunately they only had enough tea for a large. Ordered XL coffee instead...get to the window and am handed a large coffee...If I wanted large Id have stuck with the tea that I really wanted. couple of weeks ago ordered XL and was handed a cup not quite 3/4 full...ran out of coffee and closing soon. charged for XL anyway....read full review

Tim Hortons in Nanaimo has friendly staff, and the morning staff are amazing! Service can be inconsistent, but some customers have had great experiences with polite and accommodating staff, with one reviewer mentioning their forgotten croissant was remembered. The food and drinks are always satisfactory, with fresh and delicious coffee and baked goods. This location has plenty of parking and is great for kids, with staff being super accommodating. While the atmosphere is below average, some find the warm and professional service enjoyable.
