The food? Absolutely subpar. Boring - consistently disappointed every time I come. Feel this is a great place for people who aren’t a foodie. Unfortunately I am, have international standards and this place is whack. The poutines are so lack luster, are you even trying ? Can you just use basic good fries, and not serve and present it on a plate like a mom would for their 3 year old?? lol
That alone would change my review. Why is the poutine so lack luster? Once again are you even trying here? lol
Also I’m sure some like it, but there’s nasty duck ingredients scattered throughout out the menu. SOOOO OVER RATED - if this was a bigger town, it would not be a go to place guaranteed!
I’m so tired of giving this place a chance….always come out feeling unsatisfied .

Would love to say everything was horrible so I could get a seat the next time I go there because honestly the food the service was amazing. Atmosphere atmosphere was more like a date night. A special occasion, a gathering of friends. Wasn't great for if you were on a business trip and you were eating alone. However, the staff and the food definitely made up for it, especially the food. Definitely will be going back. Hopefully the next time gets with someone that I enjoy their company with.

We had the most delightful dinner last night, I’m still thinking about it. The flavours of the truffle fries and foie gras burger paired with a whiskey drink, wow just such simple comfort food but complimentary and striking (we like strong flavours). We don’t eat out often and when we do Broken Hill does not disappoint. Such a treat!

If you like a dash of liquid smoke in every bite go for it Not a fan Left 80 percent of our meal behind The waitress didn’t question why we left most of our meal This is definitely for someone who doesn’t know the difference between a smoke house and liquid smoke We tried to fill up on cornbread but the main ingredient was liquid smoke Too bad we were really looking for a new place
Hi Chad I’m sorry I insulted you I would love to come in and see the process I’ve been smoking product for 30 years I’m not convinced there’s no liquid smoke in your kitchen Sorry for the hurtful reviews but our meal was not enjoyable

Very happening spot! Food was amazing! I had the Hot Mess Burger which was unreal along with their side of Mac and cheese and it was absolutely mouthwatering. Highly recommend coming here. Will be back whenever I’m in Nelson.
