“I bought a bag of Night Owl beans to take back to Salt Spring. Even though I’m loyal to our SSI roaster, I need to say how excellent this coffee is. The blend of beans strikes a perfect balance for me. Will head straight to you next time I’m in Nelson.“

They catered services to meet our needs and provided advice and offered ideas to solve logistical challenges. Service was professional, she was kind and most importantly became quick friends my 20 month old daughter. “Delightful, casual, local cafe with history in the area. Charlie & Daylen served us the featured sandwich (breakfast burrito) & our coffees. We probably could have shared the burrito it’s so hearty & big! Come with an appetite. They serve no.6 coffee (also a locally brewed brand) and feature a local artist on a gallery wall. A great spot for a Baker Street hang. I even stuck around to get some work done after my lunch meeting.“

“Beautiful atmosphere . We parked close by and decided to see what was inside. The sitting area in the summer is hidden within trees and there was a sound of a water fountain. My kids loved it felt like sitting in a treehouse. The inside sitting area is all real wood absolutely beautiful. They are more laid back here so service is slow but they are really nice. The food was wholesome and delicious. If we pass by here again we will come back.“

“Truthfully the best iced mocha I have ever had in my life. They even have chocolate whipped cream! The ONLY reason i didn't rate it 5 stars was because we went back the next day to try the food and get another coffee and they were closed! I thought it was a little strange to close on the weekends but im glad I got to try it once before we left town.“

“I had the most delicious cake at my friends house the other day from Cake Betty. It was so wonderful that I feel compelled to write a review. Today I went to Cake Betty with another friend who bought the most beautiful small cake for a birthday gift. The owner gave us each a cupcake to enjoy. It was the best cupcake I’ve ever eaten - white cake with butter icing and a little bit of caramel sauce. So delicate and satisfying - I could have eaten three of them :)The bakery is so cute - like a tiny bakery in London, or the West Village. A lovely historical building with a sweet little store front. Go to Cake Betty - you will not be disappointed:)“

“Grabbed a loaf of sour dough. Each day they have a different group of breads on the rack. Offer to slice it at the location was a great option. We only grabbed bread but there was a display of beautiful baked items and options for coffee. Friendly and warm with a few tables to sit.“
