I had the shrimp taco salad, half order. A few tiny, canned shrimp, lettuce, tomatoes, black beans. No cilantro, no avocado, no corn. Very few tortilla chips. No taco seasoning. Was disappointed.
Stopped in for dinner during our short visit in Nelson based on a craving for Mexican cuisine & the positive reviews online. We were beyond happy with our experience! Lazaro (sp?) and his family were so lovely through every interaction & the food was so good, we got a second order each to-go to enjoy later. Smiles all around from the whole family working in the kitchen in some extreme heat. We had the huichol bowl with turkey chorizo and the taco salad with braised beef....
Really cool place, friendly staff and enjoyable good. I had the taco salad -so yummy, tangy and exactly what I was in the mood for! And my son had the pulled pork burrito, which he said was great.
