Wow! What a spot! Great music and cocktails! No bias here, just some guy!
Had a wonderful lunch today at The Royal. My wife has celiac disease and is dairy free so finding locations to eat is quite problematic. We stopped into The Royal as it was a recommendation from Nelson Celiac Facebook page. Well let’s just say the place did not disappoint. While I hear the fried chicken is excellent, I didn't get it but got the fried chicken burger instead -- which was fantastic. The onion rings are indeed as good as previous reviews have stated. Super tasty and crisp and the onion inside was consistent as well (you know how sometimes one thick onion will be under cooked, well that wasn't the case).
