A perfectly fine place, very cozy, but I was a bit disappointed in my french toast. I was hoping it would be made with nice thick bread, but it appeared to be just sandwich bread. My friend's eggs Benedict looked pretty good though!

Stopped by for breakfast it was OK nothing special. Service was good, a bit slow but we weren't in a hurry so it didn't bother us. Espresso machine was down so I ordered a drip instead. I should have checked the price because at $3.50 it was the same as an Americano. Probably try another spot next time

The breakfast was really tasty but one of the two waitresses was rude and dismissive. If we hadn't read that there was such good food here, we would have left as soon as we were sent out of the cafe to wait.

The breakfast was very tasty. We had Eggs Benny and Omelette. Both were prepared with love. The coffee was also very good and there was also a refill available upon request.

Dietary restrictions: Good gluten free options, 2 different types of bread to swap for the Eggs Benny.

Minimalist food proportions. For $20 I don't expect to leave hungry.

The menu was extensive and we would have loved to try it while on holidays in Nelson but upon arrival we were rudely greeted by our server who did not smile once and we felt as though we were an inconvenience to her. We left after ordering drinks due to her abrupt response and general rudeness

The food was great, the service not as much. The waitress acted like she was in a hurry, started walking before we were finished ordering, didn't pay attention after she tried walking away so the order wasn't right when it came out. She'd also make a full circle through the cafe but never checked on my wife's coffee.

The place is buzzing and busy, the food was ok, they could really work on presentation. The taste was good. But our server never smiled and seemed to scowl at all the people in the place. Really makes it uncomfortable to enjoy our breakfast. We will most likely try different fare on our next visit.
