The food is exceptionally good. The service is also exceptionally good with my extremely knowledgeable server. My server really knows how to recommend the flow of drink to appetizer (soup) to main course to dessert.

I love Eastern European style food and this place did not disappoint! Luckily my parents like to share so we all tried each other's dishes and loved them all (duck, paprikash, pork crepe), the langos & fried cheese appys were perfectly crispy and not at all greasy. I'm a fan of rakia and their selection is great, I had the apricots this time and it was very fruit forward. Will definitely be back to try more.
A must visit in Nelson, BC. Hungarian food done perfectly, like grandma made. They offer other Eastern European dishes as well. You will enjoy every bite at this quaint restaurant.
