My wife and I stayed for five days at the Prestige Resort and ate often at Port 701. We were very happy with the breakfasts we ate there and several lunches. First our servers were great! Cedrick and Manny took very good care of us during our morning meals. They were both very friendly and served us well; very willing to converse when not busy. Dinner with friends. Server was excellent, attentive yet not overbearing. Some of the best service I have received in Nelson. The food was overall very good. Unfortunately the vegetables served with the entrees were over salted which took a bit away from the overall experience. Appys and desserts were excellent and the steaks were cooked perfectly. The space is very nice, coupled with lake and Mountain views it is the best venue in town by far. I’ll will definitely be back.
