Food was good, lots of options so definitely something for everyone. I really enjoyed the Vienna scramble and everyone else in our group liked what they had too. Atmosphere was both cool and confusing, the cafe is inside the book and record store, there was stations to refill your water and coffee which felt strange with table service. Overall we would eat here again if back in town

Like most restaurants in Nelson these days. Food is pretty good, service is not so good. Used to love coming. Now I avoid it. The bookstore is a nice touch and almost makes up for the unprofessionalism of the restaurant portion. It’s local, cute, some would say it’s a Nelson treasure so try it out for yourself.

Our party of four chose this location based on its reviews but must’ve picked a poor time to come or something. Service was slow, despite it not appearing to be busy, our food was cold when it came, my friend found a hair in her meal (but did get hers discounted) and my husbands eggs didn’t come cooked as he wanted.
