Best place to grab breakfast in town and it's affordable. My family and I enjoy coming here not just for the food but the service too. The servers are awsome and always have a smile on and happy to help.

Amazing breakfast! Stopped for breakfast while passing through. Homemade jams, bakery if not homemade breads, homemade bakery goods. Amazing service, homey atmosphere. Inexpensive too; spent less than $50 on two breakfasts, a bakery good and a huge tip. Will be my go-to breakfast joint whenever I’m in town.

Came with my 6 year old son and ordered the mac and cheese for him and the Montreal smoked meat sandwich for me. The food was sooo tasty but the Mac and cheese was the real star! My son loved all the vintage decor. We will be back every time we visit Nelson. Staff were very friendly and great service. Definitely a favorite of ours :)

Ordered poutine to go with gravy on side so gravy didn’t get everything soggy, however it came smothered in gravy with an extra side. when I asked about it, the kind employee at till apologized and later questioned our server, who loudly contradicted what I had said, and just went about her business, never even looking at us again. disappointing.

I have never had such rude service. The waitress was lacking in the laws area. And not following restaurant server guidelines. I told her about the ones she was not following like treating the customer with respect then you get respect it goes that way. I felt completely taken a back how angry she got yelling at me instantly to leave. Way to always be that crap person in another persons day she sure craped on mine. Thanks

Waits on Nelson, is by far one of the best places to eat in Nelson. The service is fantastic, everyone is so friendly and makes you feel comfortable and welcome, the service is fast, the food is great, the milkshakes are something you must try! The suspended breakfast is a blessing to all who need it, and show the generosity and care waits has for the people and the visitors of Nelson.

I've gone here about 4 times with my family, it's a lovely place! The staff are incredibly attentive and sweet. The food is delicious and you get so much for so little money! I love this place and we drive a few hours every couple months to go here as a treat. If I lived locally I'd go everyday. Only reason it's not 5 stars is because it's a little messy but that's what you get from an old diner that's a small business but it's not dirty at all.
