I just have to give Yum Son a huge rave. Totally always consistent great service, absolutely delicious menu. Always so pleased to support this great restaurant, Another Nelson jewel. The lime soy wings are always such a treat.
Wonderful food, loved the porkbelly Bao. Incredible view of the Kootenay landscape from the outdoor patio. The mocktail menu had plenty options! Our mocktails were great and had exciting flavor to them! Would visit again. The price for everything however was a bit too steep to visit often.
Prices are egregious $9 for 5 shrimp that were advertised as prawns. We had the chicken bao full of fried chicken they were good 9/10. But the pho we had was lacking flavor and it was $28 which was $10 too much in our opinion 6/10. I realize food costs are high I work in the restaurant industry but for these portions these prices are high. Still tip 20% because this is not a server issue. The service was good this is on the manager's side of things.
