“I'm from Calgary visiting family. We went here for lunch and I had the fish and chips and shared a serving of fresh blueberry pie. It was so good. I miss White Spot from the years I lived in the lower Mainland many moons ago. I always enjoy coming here. Our server was friendly, timely and made our dining experience lovely.“

“I've been coming here for years... the staff are always amazing... without fail!... yes, sometimes the food isnt always perfect(during busy times) but they always fix it in a heartbeat... eg. fries aren't always hot... however, it's hands down the best family restaurant in north van! I've been here a few times more recently, and the waitress Olivia has been excellent. Deeply respect that at least this White Spot hires people regardless of identity—a reminder that the world can still be good. There's another male waiter too, I can't remember his name, but he has an energetic, outgoing personality—he's also great.

I recommend the Cheesy Bacon Perogies and the Monty Mushroom Burger. Milkshakes are also great, but a bit heavy if your appetite is small.“

Thankfully, Simran, one of the staff members, handled the situation very professionally and kindly. She immediately looked into the problem, fixed it quickly, and made sure everything was sorted out. “After posting a very negative review regarding 2 halibut dinners, C-Lovers reached out and apologized for the quality of the halibut, explaining that they were forced to temporarily find an alternative supplier due to a shortage from their main supplier. Clearly the quality of the fish was inferior and they were subsequently able to restore sourcing their halibut from their original supplier. As a result, we decided to give them another ‘chance’ and they did not disappoint. The halibut was moist and flavourful. The batter was light and crispy. They’ve totally redeemed themselves and we are pleased to be able to give them 5 stars!“
