The best I could give it is 3 stars. They do have a great selection of bulk foods (including grains, beans, dried fruit, nuts, herbs and spices), but when I asked where their black lentils come from the answer was "No idea. And there is no-one here to ask". This doesn't inspire confidence in the provenance of their products. Nor is it a courteous response.

I love this store shopped here when it was called Galloways back in the 80’s greatest spice shop around ! Staff was helpful polite & very pleasant . They have every spice one needs to cook ethnic dishes . I drive from Hope now to shop there . Will continue to support this store till I can no longer go . Thank you Goodway spice , for exceptional & outstanding goods ! Keep up the great work !

Awesome shop for bulk and pre packed goods. Travelling for a month out of Vancouver. Stocked up on gluten free options. So many options.And extremely helpful and friendly staff

I purchased sesame seeds today from this store only to find there were bugs inside the sealed bag. This happened again a couple years ago when I purchased a bag of rice. I thought I would give them another try but unfortunately this is obviously more common than I thought.
A great little store that seems to have every kind of dry good imaginable. I use it for spices, flours and grains. However, they have many European and Asian items too.

I like this store and the products they sell, but I won't be spending any money here as long as they peddle ridiculous right-wing pandemic conspiracy "literature" at their front door (at a "sanitizing station," no less).Difficult not to observe the irony of other reviewer's comments about being made to enforce store capacity limits during the height of the pandemic; why bother with any protocols if you've decided to tell your customers this was all a hoax?What a pity, because it's otherwise a great little shop.
