What can I say negative, nothing. Incredible food quality and service. Everything they offer is exceptional. Even the sour creme is out of this world. Great beer Incredible bread and pastry. Soup and pirrogies. When I eat there I know i am getting really nutritious food my gut thanks me. The staff a very polite and work tirelessly everytime I am there. Some things may seem a bit pricey but the nutritional value is well worth the price. Very nice people who work there. This is a special one of a kind place to eat in though small folks are really quick to clean up after themselves and make room for the next person taking there spot when there finished eating. Take out is also an option for the many times I have enjoyed Kozak Ukrainian Eatery. Amazing soup and everything else you good people make there. I often by the heavy dark rye bread one slice is a meal in itself. Very delicious. Thank you Kozak your one of my go to food restaurants when im to tired to cook and needing good meal for some energy. When I have a cold or flu I load up with your soups.
Cheers..
This place never disappoints. From savory to sweet to coffee... everything is always so delicious. The borsch is just the yummiest. Small spot, limited seating, order at the counter. A charming little lunch spot.
Lots of take home options.
The mama combo platter is tasty but the portion is small for the price.
so delish!! bakery is insanely good
The sheer number of baked goods on display was amazing, with so many Ukrainian specialties not available elsewhere. I had some cabbage rolls and a cinnamon roll and it was absolutely delicious. Can’t wait to try all the different specialty dishes and treats!
5 plus! For food and service every time!
Today I tried the apricot, cream cheese and the mango coconut pastries. Soft pillowy pastry filled with creamy deliciousness and sweet fresh fruit; pure bliss for the taste buds 🤤 these are a must try!
The Lithuanian rye is fantastic, a heavy super flavourful loaf with a touch of sweetness.
Worth making a trip for!
Thank you for bringing home to me. Best Ukrainian bread is here and I can test it again. Please keep Ukrainian bread tradition and share it with the world 😋

Delicious, everything home made and authentic. I loved it in here. Great lunch and great dessert. Wish they had cottage cheese perogis. But I got the wild boar ones and still delicious! 😋

I’m disappointed. I took some food home. I also ordered borscht, berry varenyky, coffee, and honey cake to eat at the restaurant. I’ve been to all three Kozak locations, and I really didn’t like this one. I won’t say anything about the service because we’re all human. But the portion sizes compared to the prices leave much to be desired. If you order something to take home, like semi-finished products, it might be okay. But dining in – I’m disappointed. Despite missing Ukraine and sometimes wanting to feel like I’m there, I won’t be returning to this place. The borscht was decent.

We came here on a whim and we’re so glad that we did! The selection is amazing and the service was impeccable. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. We got the frappuccino cube croissant, the cheddar green onion pastry, and coffee and all of it was delicious. We are eager to try their sausage rolls, lunch special, and napoleon cake next time. We will definitely be back and recommending this place to everyone we know!

A Hidden Gem for Pastry Lovers!
I can’t say enough good things about this Ukrainian café! Their bakery is absolutely top-notch. The butter croissant is pure perfection—flaky and buttery. The pistachio croissant? A 10/10 experience! The balance of flavors and the quality of ingredients really shine through. They didn’t last long enough for a photo coz I ate them too quickly.
The Frappuccino cube is also very unique :)
The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it a perfect spot to enjoy a coffee with your pastries. Whether you’re a croissant enthusiast or just someone who appreciates amazing baked goods, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommend!
