I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Koza Restaurant! From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with warm hospitality and a comfortable atmosphere. The food was outstanding – fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Every dish was cooked to perfection, and you can tell they use high-quality ingredients with a lot of care and passion.

The service was excellent as well – friendly, attentive, and professional without being overbearing. It truly made the whole dining experience even more enjoyable.

Koza Restaurant is a hidden gem that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for delicious food, great service, and a welcoming environment. I’ll definitely be coming back again and again!

I randomly stopped in and tried the perogies and borscht, WOW. 🤯 The perogies were so fluffy and fresh, and the borscht was so hearty and delicious. My only regret is not ordering more! Super cute little hole in the wall type place with amazing food. I will make a trip out to New West just for this place alone. Can’t wait to come back.

Honestly the best sourdough in New West & surrounding areas.

Their vegan borscht is 10/10.

If they had a vegan option among their extensive baked goods selection then it’d be a strong 5* review. I’d love to see a vegan cookie or croissant!

Heard a lot about this place and had to give it a try. The borscht was incredible! So flavourful and hearty. There’s even a little card teaching you how to enjoy it the traditional way :)

The pirogies were amazing as well, we got dill and potato as well as bacon and potato. The onions on top were sweet and delicious.

For dessert, there are a wide variety of pastries available. I tried the honey cake, it was pretty good. Will come back to try more.

Overall, it was a great experience. Definitely on the pricier end, but worth it! I will come back on special occasions to treat myself.

This location is smaller than their Gastown location and is more of a cafe vibe than a restaurant, so seating is quite limited FYI. They offer plenty of refrigerated to-go meals as well.

The best borsch in town. The restaurant is a cozy eatery where you can enjoy sweet and savoury Ukrainian dishes. I also had the bacon potato perogies and they were delicious and decently sized. My wife loves their goulash which is also great. There was an abundance of freshly baked goods and many take-home items. A great local shop to check out if you’re in New West!
