Order the effin good burger with onions rings as substitute of fries (for extra 7.50 charge) with a drink total was 30 dollars~Overall the burger the was good, definite one of the more well made burgers amongst other fast food or casual food places. Juicy patty good BBQ sauce and buns were good. Onions were well season and crispy. Overall the food is good and decent. However the portion is abit disappointing. For 7.50 extra I have gotten 7 total onion rings. The size of the patty and burger also abit small too.Is the food good? Yeah it's decent and good. But at the 30 dollar price point is it twice as good as a&w or like other burger joints like burger Heaven in the neighborhood? I wouldn't say so. As a consumer it feels pretty awkward. If I want something fast and easy a&w seem like a better option, if I want to treat myself to a nice burger I wouldn't mind spending abit more at a location with slightly bigger portion or comfortable seating. And this location is in the middle of the two options. Food is not bad in fact its quite good. but it didn't make me feel good spending my money here. A couple years ago they have a jw burger which was a mix between beef and pork if I recall correctly and honestly I think that was their best burger on the menu. But some where along they way they compromised the craftsmanship with convinenence now all their patties for all their burgers are same. From I business standpoint I wouldn't fault them for this as economy is tough and there are cost associated with preparation of multiple items. But it's def sad to see
I had a fantastic meal here at the spud shack for my first time being served by fantastic staff, such as Pan and Jen. Pan was very passionate about the menu and I I was very Was very impressed with his knowledge.Being a non-meat eater, I have an option to choose a very healthy veggie burger that was made out of real veggies and not that fake meat garbage.This makes a non-eater. Very happy that we have more options of eating out. Thank you for creating such a delicious menu.
