The Spud Shack Fry Co. Reviews
My poutine, the La Montreal, is Montreal smoked meat atop with dill pickles and mustard, which meshed surprisingly well with the gravy and cheese curds. I would definitely get it again...
The food was mediocre at best. The owner was a very rude person. He comes across as self righteous and condescending. I was shocked that this would be the experience there, especially after reading some of the other reviews. Unfortunately, this place is a hard no for me.

The Spud Shack Fry Co. is a restaurant just down the hallway from the theatre, easy to stop in before or after a movie. The main attraction is the poutine, with many to choose from; the Butter Chicken Poutine has Indian butter chicken sauce and real chicken on top of fries. The Gaucho Cowboy poutine, a medium, was the perfect brunch. The fries are great even on their own, and the flavours from the meat and in house made sauces put the entire dish above and beyond any poutine. The sauce is flavourful and pairs well with the gravy sauce and the cheese. Burgers like the Cajun Chicken burger are well grilled, served with a mountain of fries and so much flavor; the buns are always toasted. Service is decent, order and pick up. The lady taking orders is extremely nice and friendly. The small dining area is intentional for a cozy ambience. The poutine was one of the best ever, with the amount of toppings and fries unbeatable anywhere else.
