Looks questionable but I promise you won’t be disappointed! Food was great and the service was super friendly! If you’re looking for good pub food, here’s your place! We got honey garlic wings, sweet potato fries, the beef dip sandwich and the fish burger!

Don’t judge a book by its cover folks! We came to this restaurant after hearing about it on social media. To begin, it looked like a hole in the wall, there was almost nobody in there, the tables were all sticky, the menu was overwhelmingly large with little description, and it in general didn’t look like the place was well kept. Red flags all around, however the server was quick to greet us & help us out. When the food came, we were pleasantly surprised! The meal was hot & fresh. The fries were excellent & very large, and all the food (Fish Burger, Beef Dip, and Honey Garlic Wings) was an 8/10 across the board. I was very happy that the food was good, considering everything else. I think I would like to return to try another item on the menu!

So I came here with my girlfriend to watch the hockey game play-offs. Initially, our experience was satisfactory. The server was courteous, although they did not disclose their policy regarding free refills (one per person).
We were served food, including pierogies and chicken wings. The wings were not tossed in sauce; they were simply placed on the table.
As the game progressed, the server changed, and we were assigned a new server. As the game neared its conclusion, we received our bill and attempted to settle it before others attempted to do so. However, Edmonton scored a goal, necessitating overtime.
At this point, the server inquired if we should leave if we were not intending to purchase anything. We had spent $60 and desired to remain, but we refrained from engaging in further discussion. It appears that she may have an attitude problem. Despite this, we generally enjoyed the experience and had to watch the game elsewhere. The bad server name is Tara

Checked out The Thirtsy Duck Pub in New Westminster last night to watch the Oilers Playoff game. Had a alright server at the start then we were told to switch tables as a group of 6 had come in. We ordered a pepsi and were not told about the refill policy, one free refill per person after that its $3.We ordered The Perogie special for $15, A beef dip and Honey Garlic Chicken wings.The 2nd server Tara is so rude and treats customers like absolute trash! She kicked us out for no reason well we were watching the game, the game was in the 3rd period and Was tied at this point! Besides Terrible Tara, the owner is really nice ended up sitting beside him.
I don't see myself ever returning to The Thirtsy Duck!
Always an amazing experience at the Thirsty duck. Our server Tara is always extremely attentive and her service is super quick which is the reason why we keep coming back. The food is also delicious! I recommend the shrimp tostada & their Mexican platter. 10/10 coming from a fellow Mexican.

Amazing experience always with our server Tara! She always goes above and beyond with her service ensuring a smooth experience. The atmosphere can not be the best as people can get out of hand when asked for ID. She always remains professional and knows how to deescalate those situations. Koodos Tara.
