White Spot New Westminster

Nice restaurant but our waiter was absent most of the night. Can't blame him as he probably had too many tables to tend to.
Food was standard white Spot food. Can't complain.

Our entire ringette team had dinner here and we were all extremely dissatisfied with the quality and speed of service.
The entire experience was frustrating from start to finish. It took 40 minutes and two separate reminders just to get a simple glass of water.
We ended up waiting for over an hour+ for our food, even though we had pre-ordered most of the dishes in advance to save time. It completely defeats the purpose of making a reservation and pre-ordering if the kitchen isn't prepared.
When the food finally did arrive, the service was chaotic. The servers constantly confused who ordered what and even brought the wrong meals to the children.
Furthermore, we asked for a single empty plate (for sharing food) at the same time we ordered our meals. After two hours and multiple reminders, it never arrived.
We strongly do not recommend this restaurant, especially on a weekend or busy day. It seems they are completely unable or incapable of handling a large group or a full restaurant.

About 2h+ passed after our entry to the restaurant. All waitress disappeared. Still no promised ice cream for kids

The food took over an hour to arrive. We ordered the drinks and they messed up all of them. The food was not even warm and they didn't get what we asked for. Wrong milkshakes, wrong sides. Someone got 3 orders, when they ordered only one. I asked for a refill and they never brought it back. The water took 40 mins to bring. And I asked for an extra plate at the start, reminded them 3 times, and still didn't get it. For a vegetarian they brought at meal with meat, when we specified her allergies. The ice cream for kids was never brought out. The total wait time for our food was over 1.5 hours, even though the place wasn't very crowded.

I'm from Calgary visiting family. We went here for lunch and I had the fish and chips and shared a serving of fresh blueberry pie. It was so good. I miss White Spot from the years I lived in the lower Mainland many moons ago. I always enjoy coming here. Our server was friendly, timely and made our dining experience lovely.

I’ve been meaning to do this for the last month and I have finally gotten around to it. Every Saturday we go for lunch at White Spot and we have been greeted by a host named Emma. (We finally found her name out last week) she seems to really love her job and goes out of her way to make us feel very welcome, chatting and joking with us while she gets us a booth. Always with a smile on her face, hair, neatly done and those nails! My daughter looks forward to every Saturday when she gets to see what colour or design is on her nails. The servers are excellent, regardless of which one you get. (Sorry, don’t know your names) very attentive, polite and know their job well. When it’s busy, the servers and the greeters work together to make sure we are not waiting long. The food is always consistent, but what set them apart is the people. They have a great team there, from the moment you walk in to the time you leave, you feel like you are appreciated. Would recommend this to anyone who thinks atmosphere is an important part of the dining experience.
