White Spot New Westminster

I come here occasionally for brunch and it’s always really good. The food is consistent, and the place is big enough to comfortably bring a stroller.

On a recent Friday evening, I visited this establishment during its advertised happy hour, which runs from 8-10 PM. We ordered the chicken wings, but unfortunately, the service provided by our server was unsatisfactory. Additionally, the soft drinks we received were not adequately chilled. Overall, the service quality was quite poor. As a first-time visitor, primarily due to its close proximity to my residence, I must express my disappointment with the experience. Consequently, I will not be returning to this establishment and cannot recommend it to others.

Friendly staff who treat their customers well!
They give you plenty of portions here compared to other White Spot locations. Service is a little slower since they tend to serve more senior customers at this location, but it’s nice not feeling rushed during your meal here.

Noticed that lots of senior customer regulars tend to go here. You can tell that the hosts and servers truly care about the regulars and have a good rapport with them. ◡̈

Super fun foodie and drinks night. The server was so awesome. I knew I would forget her name but I think it was Cristinia?? Sorry if I'm wrong. The best attitude, smile and attentiveness!!! Drinks seem to go down pretty smooth and the appetizers were even better. Chicken quesadilla was my FAV. However I was jealous when I seen my friends cheesy perogies, damn her. Our server really made an average night into I can't wait to come back night. Thank you.

Nice restaurant but our waiter was absent most of the night. Can't blame him as he probably had too many tables to tend to.

Consistently busy location because it's a dependable restaurant. Staff are pleasant and food is as expected. Can be a bit cold sometimes.

Our entire ringette team had dinner here and we were all extremely dissatisfied with the quality and speed of service.
The entire experience was frustrating from start to finish. It took 40 minutes and two separate reminders just to get a simple glass of water.
We ended up waiting for over an hour+ for our food, even though we had pre-ordered most of the dishes in advance to save time. It completely defeats the purpose of making a reservation and pre-ordering if the kitchen isn't prepared.
When the food finally did arrive, the service was chaotic. The servers constantly confused who ordered what and even brought the wrong meals to the children.
Furthermore, we asked for a single empty plate (for sharing food) at the same time we ordered our meals. After two hours and multiple reminders, it never arrived.
We strongly do not recommend this restaurant, especially on a weekend or busy day. It seems they are completely unable or incapable of handling a large group or a full restaurant.

Upd:
About 2h+ passed after our entry to the restaurant. All waitress disappeared. Still no promised ice cream for kids

The food took over an hour to arrive. We ordered the drinks and they messed up all of them. The food was not even warm and they didn't get what we asked for. Wrong milkshakes, wrong sides. Someone got 3 orders, when they ordered only one. I asked for a refill and they never brought it back. The water took 40 mins to bring. And I asked for an extra plate at the start, reminded them 3 times, and still didn't get it. For a vegetarian they brought at meal with meat, when we specified her allergies. The ice cream for kids was never brought out. The total wait time for our food was over 1.5 hours, even though the place wasn't very crowded.

Conner is an amazing server and took very good care of the nine of us. It’s been a long while since we had as good of service as Conner provided us. We will be back, thanks to Conner!
