While I've eaten in the restaurant numerous times, it has become a favorite to order it for home delivery. Every meal I receive is excellent and piping hot. I couldn't be happier. I have taken to ordering extra potatoes to have with my own home-cooked meals the following days, too. You won't regret eating at Yiannis. The food is very good and the portions are generous overall, but rice & bread & potato makes a lot of carbs with most entrees. I haven't tried everything on the menu, but I've tried a lot of it and it's all at least good. The roast lamb is a standout.

My first visit to Yiannis Greek Taverna in New Westminster was a pleasant surprise. Located inside a mall, the restaurant offers plenty of free parking and a separate entrance from the outside. Initially, the small door from the mall and the dim lighting made us unsure if it was open. My daughter even asked, “Is it open? Why is it so dark in there?” However, once inside, we were greeted by a warm and inviting ambiance.
