“We had our wedding reception here, let me start off by saying the manager/owner was so sweet, she and her husband were so quick to confirm that we could hold our wedding here. She offered to create a sign for outside the restaurant, always quickly responded to any questions or concerns. They also ordered just for our event extra tables and chairs. The employees/waiters/waitresses here are so sweet and attentive, and for their first experience doing a wedding, I was impressed with how well they adapted to the chaos of at capacity customers and crowds. The magic of the day can not happen without the people behind the scenes hustling to make it special. Waffleland cafe is so beautiful and a sweet gem in the heart of Gastown, we are so lucky to be the first wedding and I just know there will be more. Cute, whimsical, romantic decor made it so easy to add little bits to customize it to our celestial/forest. We were given a little card/gift from the owner and a sweet card that we read as we left the event. 10/10 would recommend. Thank you again Waffleland team!“

“Lovely location, great service, lots of sitting space. Quality coffee and good options of pick me ups and baked goods. The ham & cheese croissant was delicious, my flat white was perfect. The cappuccino to go was fabulous and omg the banana bread is to die for! I’ve been to many Pallet locations and I think this is my favourite!“

“I highly recommend Hunnybee! Wonderful breakfast and brunch options served in a cozy space with an informal and hip vibe. Vancouver’s best breakfast sandwiches and possibly the world’s best ricotta pancakes - they’re to die for. And in the evenings Hunnybee puts on taco and wood fired-pizza nights with a lively atmosphere. Small wonder that the place has a dedicated customer base.“

“Our U9 team was in town Feb 4-5 and Deb and her team were thrilled to host us - not all restaraunts would open up 3/4 of their space to that age group. Our meal and service from start to finish was simply outstanding. Highly recommend what a gem of a restaraunt.“

“The Missus and I have passed by Astro’s many times on the way to Costco. The diner style eatery is run by a Korean couple and the ordering and delivery of the food was very prompt. We have tried both the breakfast and lunch (French toast, classic breakfast, clubhouse and turkey sandwich). The food is not bad and is good value for the dollar compared to others. If in the area, we will drop by again.“

“I went to this restaurant with my husband. Overall, the atmosphere and service were good and satisfying, but the gnocchi we ordered didn’t taste as we expected. It wasn’t chewy at all—just felt like eating tough potatoes. Other than that, I liked the other dishes. Maybe I’ll try different ones next time“

Excellent food, service, atmosphere! We went on a Tuesday for lunch, easy street parking and a nice level of 'busy'.
We discovered Egg & Co because a friend had a party there a few nights ago, which is good to know that you can have private parties there in the evenings.
Thanks Gio for a wonderful first visit! We will be back for sure!“
