“Such an awesome place. They have a wonderful selection of meats, cheese, olives and dry goods. The smoked olives are chefs kiss! They also serve tasty sandwiches and cappuccinos. Most folks get their sandwich to go, but you can eat there as they now have tables and chairs outside.“
“Oh my this is a hidden ? gem!!! Delicious little deli/cafe serving sandwiches, soups, salads, baked goods and prepacked food if you are on the go! I had never been here before and had seen it many times on my drive home and decided to stop in today. I was blown away I ordered the Stan's Damn sandwich.... it was delicious. It was so fresh, the veggies were crisp and the meat was real and not processed. 10 out of 10!! I highly recommend this place if you want to have a great satisfying lunch... oh and to top it off the prices are amazing too.... staff are so welcoming and friendly. I'll be coming back“
“I can't get enough of La Grotta. Absolutely delicious and amazing service. My only recommendation is to come earlier in the day as they might sell out of bread in the evening. I went at 4:30 and they only had some focaccia left, which was great regardless. My current go-to order is: Light balsamic & Olive Oil, Honey mustard, Chipotle Mayo, Pesto Mayo, Lettuce, Tomatoes, Red Onions, Artichokes, Mild Salami, Mortadella, on a toasted Portuguese Bun. So far the best sandwich I've had in Vancouver! Awesome work!“
“Nice market, has a reasonable amount of selection of Eastern European goods and deli meats. It's hard to get to the location and not much for parking. The prices were higher than I'm used to paying for most things but I guess that makes sense with inflation. It's a really tight space but they work well with what they have.“
“I recommend that you don’t waste your time and goto a different deli. This place shouldn’t be called a deli anymore. They don’t even have deli meats aside from ham and bologna and whatever cheap meats they can sell. I used to come here every single day. Now I go in momentarily just to verify that they don’t have ANYTHING that I used to attend daily for. Embarrassing to still be called a deli and Atta would be so disappointed in the ruining of his once great deli“
“The soup was homemade and delicious. The sandwich reminded me of Aussie sandwiches loaded with veg from my childhood. The price was right. The ladies were all really sweet and it was really clean inside their kitchen. It's where all the labour boys come to eat so you know it's good eating.Vegetarian options: Veg sandwich. Not sure if it's vegan.Kid-friendliness: Mom and mom shop . A couple of seats.“
“Just tried this place for the first time and the only thing I’m disappointed about is that I didn’t try it sooner. Had a Philly cheesesteak and Pirogies with bacon and both were very good!! Will be back to try more menu items in the near future.“
