“First time trying their food tonight! Great little spot. I was craving a koobideh rice platter (beef kababs) and this place is really close to home. They were really busy tonight but they were fast and efficient, considering the busy-ness. The kababs were so juicy and flavorful. Fresh veggies. Everything well seasoned. Handsome staff too.“

“Afghan Horseman never disappoints… my husband and I have been coming here for over 30 years and now it has become a favourite of our kids also. The food…delicious, the atmosphere… unique & cozy, the service… we are always treated like family and we were honoured to be included in their 50th Anniversary celebration this year. Tonight we enjoyed another fabulous dinner experience and we got to share it with our friend from Germany who loved it. Thank you to all our friends at Afghan, we look forward to dining with you in 2025!“

“We were greeted promptly by the owner , we loved the Mantu ,Kababs ( all kind ) , Ghabli Polo . “This restaurant definitely serves the best Chinese grilled fish in Vancouver. We’ve eaten at Grill Fish King/Li’s China Grill for almost 15 years already and our opinion has never changed. They provide many flavours of fish with ranging spice levels. It always tastes fresh and authentic. They also have a variety of other Chinese dishes and skewers. We’ll for sure come back for the many years to come.“
