Ming's garden is my go-to place to have delicious and authentic Chinese food (Cantonese and Szechuan). I have a spicy appetite and so my favorites are more of the Szechuan style. My recommendations are:> Beef Hot Pot> Fried Green Bean> Singapore Style Fried Rice Noodle> Chicken with Snow PeasMing's garden has great service and prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend!

Lady at the front desk was very nice, made us feel welcome and helped pick out the dishes! The food was delicious and good quantity so the chefs at the back must be nice too! They were kind enough to let us dine in although they were an hr away from closing! If am back in the area, I will return!! Having some cooked, warm, spicy food late in the day without the wait when we arrived was great! Thanks Ming's!Vegetarian options: Thank you for having them :)! Veg chow mein, tofu- veg mix with black bean sauce were yum!

This place has such mixed reviews I was a bit hesitant to try, but ordered some combination dinners as well as the deep fried tofu with salt (hot) and were happy with what we got! Some of the best tofu, the vegetarian version of salt and pepper squid. Haven’t dined in, only did take out. Good portion for what we ordered.

Went to Ming’s garden for lunch not expecting much but this place blew my socks off. It’s not often that every dish you order at a restaurant comes out perfect and delicious but Ming’s garden did it. I’m a vegetarian and I had plenty of options. We got a mini portion of hoisin deep fried Ouf thinking it would be a small, dry starter. Nope, it was a full scale entree with lots of sauce. Also got the vegetable chow mein crispy. Omg. So freaking good. And lastly, whenever I see an eggplant dish at a Chinese restaurant I make sure to get it. They had an eggplant hotpot and my husband had to hold me back from licking the plate.Ming is super nice as well and the food came very very fast. I’m new to Vancouver and haven’t repeated a single restaurant yet, but this one I’m going back to within a week!!!
