Sushi Takeaway near North Vancouver, BC

“Do not expect to get a table here. There were only 2 seats when we visited, so expect to get takeout. The waiting time for takeout was only 15 minutes on a Saturday for lunch.

We got 5 rolls, and the fish was very fresh and from Japan. Our favourite roll was the Yuki House Roll which is 5 pieces, but generously stuffed full of multiple fish. The Salmon Oshi was also pretty good, but a little too much sauce for our preference.

Would recommend if you're craving really fresh takeout sushi.“

“I loved my first time experience with Sashimiya. I called and spoke to very friendly and helpful people even when I had so many questions. I ordered the large Sashimi Plate and it was full of such fresh and delicious seafood! I also had the Salmon Aburi Roll and the California Roll. So good! Next time I will make a point to look at al the groceries they have for sale as well!“

“Genuinely a hidden gem here in New Westminster. I went with my mother on a random Wednesday noon and honestly I can’t wait to go back already. The place is ran by a lovely couple who are both super duper sweet. The food portion is absolutely humongous. We ordered a 3 roll combo and the sashimi combo B and could not finish both of them (we probably only finished half of each), andddd you get free hot tea (I love their tea).

The price is more than fair for the amount of food you get especially for sushi in my opinion. Would love for this place to stay around for as long as they can so please check them out if you’re ever in the area :)
