Fantastic and friendly service!
Come early for the bread, they tend to sell out within a few hours of everything and the popular ones sell out within an hour.
Great wine tasting as well! Every visit to Osoyoos we make sure to stop for our morning bread (and of course a wine tasting)! The wine tasting comes with a bread pairing, so you’re able to taste small bites of some of the bread.
I had a very disappointing and unprofessional experience at this establishment. When we stepped outside to check the seating area, a lady approached us with a very rude and confrontational attitude, asking, ‘Who told you to come outside?’ in an unpleasant tone. When I asked why, she responded that someone inside was ‘too sensitive’ to my perfume and that we either had to sit outside or she could ask the other person to move outside instead.
It was extremely windy outside, and while we didn’t want to cause discomfort to anyone, the way the situation was handled made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome leaving us with no choice but to leave. This level of unprofessionalism and discriminatory behaviour is unacceptable, and I would never recommend this place to anyone. It’s clear they lack proper customer service and courtesy
I recently visited Platinum Bench Winery, renowned for its exceptional wines and fresh artisan breads, and my experience was nothing short of fantastic. While the wine and bread alone are worth the trip, the real standout of the day was Christa, who made the tasting experience truly unforgettable. She was knowledgeable, personable, and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. Her passion for the wines and her genuine enthusiasm added a special touch to the whole visit. Christa went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time, and I can’t say enough good things about how enjoyable she made the experience. It’s rare to find someone who can elevate an already exceptional winery, but Christa certainly did. Highly recommend visiting Platinum Bench – and if you’re lucky enough to have Christa guide you through the tasting, you’re in for a real treat!
This place was hyped up to me but it ended up just being fine. The bread and wine pairings are fun but the bread wasn’t very fresh, unfortunately.
We paid $12 per person for 4 tastings.
Can't beat wine and bread pairing. Both were delicious, and the service was fantastic.
Fantastic wines and bread!
To say a tasting at this location is perhaps one of the best approachable experiences in the valley would be an understatement.
From the captivating red and white wines that leave a lasting impression to bread you will literally fight other customers for, Platinum Bench is a must-visit gem along Black Sage Road.
Our gracious host for the hour exuded warmth and expertise, enhancing every moment of our visit. The tastings, featuring a curated rotating selection of four wines each day, are consistently elevated by the artisan bread pairings that initially captured our hearts.
As a red wine enthusiast and with my partner favouring whites, we were both enamoured by the exceptional red pours—the Syrah and Merlot, recommended by a neighbouring winery—a testament to their quality and reputation.
Back to the bread - getting there ideally before noon is a strategic move if you aim to secure these coveted loaves, as enthusiasts flock to the bakery with a fervour akin to vultures. Each loaf carries a rich history, originating from a sourdough starter nurtured into existence 19 years ago.
Must stop all the time!
Fantastic experience here! LOVE the bread pairing with the wine tasting
The breads make the tasting experience. They pair so well to their wines. It is always such an enjoyable experience. But arrive early to ensure you can take some bread to go; it sells out fast!
Bread always fresh at 10am! Tastings start at 10:30. They sell cheese and meat from a local. Cracked pepper is amazing.

Get there early before the bread sells out. We had an excellent wine tasting with accompanying selected bread making for a delightful experience. The owners are wonderful people. I highly recommend stopping in.
I’ll start with this the bread is delicious and the wine is par with most other places in the valley, but the staff there are so condescending and rude. Our last visit was spoiled but the older couple and some rude comments made infront of other guests. I wouldn’t recommend this winery because of that. It’s unacceptable to call out a group of paying customers infront of others and to make us feel unwelcome is disheartening. Seems this is a reoccurring issue based on other reviews.
I recently visited Platinum Bench Winery with high hopes of enjoying a delightful wine-tasting experience. However, my visit left me with a bitter taste in my mouth, quite literally. Allow me to provide an honest and matter-of-fact review of my time at this establishment.
First and foremost, the recurring issue of the winery constantly running out of bread is simply perplexing. It is astonishing that a winery, boasting about its bread offerings, fails to meet the basic demand of its customers. One would assume that a business would prioritize and ensure the availability of its most popular selling feature. It is essential for Platinum Bench Winery to address this issue promptly and come up with a solution to avoid disappointing its patrons.
Furthermore, the snobbish atmosphere at the winery was rather off-putting. It is important for Platinum Bench Winery to remember that they are not the only winery in the vicinity. The pretentiousness and air of superiority displayed by the establishment were unnecessary and did not contribute positively to the overall experience. While I appreciate the kind service provided by the younger lady, it was unfortunate that the older lady's demeanor made the visit uncomfortable. This is not the first encounter with such behavior, as it seems to be a recurring issue that needs to be addressed.
In conclusion, Platinum Bench Winery left much to be desired. The lack of bread availability and the snobbish atmosphere detract from what could have been a pleasurable wine-tasting experience. I urge the management to take these criticisms seriously and make the necessary improvements to ensure a more enjoyable visit for future customers
Holy moly, the bread is probably the best I’ve had ever. We visited on a whim while heading to the wineries and could not be happier with the choice to grab a couple.
We were able to get the ones straight from the oven, and it was equally crispy, chewy, and perfectly balanced in flavour and texture. Can’t wait to return hopefully soon!
We just showed up to have a tasting and the old guy basically said we were ruining the wine/other peoples experience due to wearing some perfume. Then proceeded to say if you go to formal tastings, you’re not supposed to wear perfume all. Definitely made the ladies in the group very embarrassed and uncomfortable. Platinum Bench used to be my favourite winery and the one stop I’d always want to go to. Not anymore. I don’t think I will ever go back. Not great hospitality. The older lady working there seemed very uptight and not very welcoming. Would not recommend. If you’re looking for a fun and easy going winery, this is not the one for you.
