Smoked sockeye for starter then white spring for dinner with scallops. This morning, crab cakes. Best ever.
We pick up seafood from the marina store every trip on our annual Island vacation, it's always fantastic!!!
I called them today to see if they had a fresh fillet of salmon. They confirmed they did and gave me the price for a fresh salmon fillet from the Fraser River. Then suggested that if I was feeding ten people (I was) that a whole salmon would be much cheaper (less than half the price).
I bought an absolutely beautiful sockeye salmon, head off, and served it tonight. It was excellent!!!!!! So fresh. Thank you!
