Lovely balanced wines made in interesting styles. Really relaxing outdoor seating which we enjoyed in the sun. The food truck on site has unique and tasty options. Staff are informative, hands off but attentive.
Would recommend checking it out.

Unreliable operating hours. Visited this winery based on their website, Instagram, and Google hours of operations and unfortunately had to alter my plans- as did many other customers who had come and gone within the hour that I waited around. Looks like a beautiful spot but really frustrating experience.

Delicious wines, very nice staff and a cool space to sip!

My partner and I visited Sea Star in late December and had the most lovely time. We were greeted with warmth and lots of knowledge about each of the different tasting options and Sea Star’s operations. Each wine we tasted was delectable which tempted us to buy more than the one bottle we did. Brooke was incredibly personable and generous which made our visit that much more enjoyable. We would definitely recommend you visit Sea Star if you’re on Pender Island and we hope to return soon!

I had to visit Sea Star Winery while I visited Pender Island. This winery has been there for 20 years and has a beautifully established vineyard. The main building is great for tastings and seasonal food truck is available. There is spacious inside seating, outside seating and a beautiful flower garden to sample.

I had a fantastic experience at Sea Star Winery. From the moment we arrived, the welcoming outdoor atmosphere set the tone for a relaxing day. The wine selection was exceptional, with each glass offering a unique and delightful flavor. The setting was perfect for unwinding, surrounded by beautiful scenery that made the experience even more enjoyable. Susan's warm hospitality truly stood out—she was knowledgeable, attentive, and added a personal touch that made the visit unforgettable. I can't wait to return!

No red wine option. Basic establishment but classy. Flight was more than $10 less than $14. 3 tastes. About an 8 minute drive from “downtown Pender”

Absolute perfection.
Friendly, peaceful, great wine, cheese and salami I’m going to dream about…

Came for a tasting, the wines were pretty good, location is nice, only complaint is that there weren’t any reds.

The wines were wonderful. The prices were very reasonable and the picnic basket was very tasty. The staff made an excellent effort to ask how your experience is and make a genuine effort to converse with you. There's a nice peak at the water through a clearing in the trees as well.

Stopped by with my family for a wine tasting. Beautiful scenery and was huge fan of the white wine. 5 stars.

We have been several times and each time was better than the last. The wine, patio, and atmosphere is outstanding. Special recognition to Suzanne who went over and above on customer service. Hats off to the entire team!

Beautiful location, view, food, team & wine!

We will be back, if you’re looking for a serene, fun and relaxing Saturday afternoon look no further!

I didn't appreciate the high price of the tasting. It's more than most places even charge for a single full glass at restaurants. I also thought it was douche-y to charge the full $14 even when people purchase wines. The tasting is only free if 6 or more bottles are bought. I get there's a high cost to free samples, but why not make the charge between $5 and $8? The Ortega wine is good and setting is beautiful, I will give them that.

We stopped here for a tasting and lunch during the May long weekend. The Truss food truck is on site and serves some great food. We had the potato gnocchi, salmon cakes, cheese board and oysters along with two wine flights.

There is a nice outdoor seating area which we didn’t really enjoy as it was raining when we visited. I believe that if you reserve for a large group, you can sit in a cute area with a succulent table. My favorite wine was the sparkling Luna Maris.

Good service, friendly servers and great wines.
