Ordered take out - technically edible but definitely disappointing. Almost no protein in any of the dishes (a few little fragments of chicken/beef), boiled egg in the fresh roll is really odd, ketchup-esque pad Thai, and the pad kee mao is made with pancit noodles (also odd). Everything was overwhelmingly bland. Curry was very fishy which is fine but almost no veggies except soggy green beans and small amount of protein- watery, very little actual curry sauce. Thai salad was technically a salad from a Thai place but nothing else about it was Thai (cold fried tofu on iceberg lettuce with a boiled sliced egg, tomato, and cucumber).

The person who took our order was very kind and polite. The service was lovely.

(Pad Thai, pad kee mao, fresh roll, swimming Rama - cold watery peanut sauce, “Thai salad”, and panang curry. $115 before tip.)

Went for lunch before the Flames/Canucks young stars game. The server who sat us was so sweet and friendly. Obviously we were about to experience authentic Thai food! The first food that came out was a spring roll, which was included with the red curry. They were crunchy and delicious. The panang red curry was exceptional! Oh my word, so good! So good that I ordered another one! My daughter ordered the pad Thai. She loved it. I tried it, and it was an unusual tasting pad Thai, but very good as well.
Though the servings seem smaller than usual, the taste is out of this world

I ordered Beef Pad Normai and Pad khing was a small portion. The beef was dryer than the desert. It was sooo spicy I asked for level 1. The sauce was runny and overall it was just a terrible meal. I’m very disappointed for the quality. This isn’t good Thai at all. It’s a shame to even call this Thai food. Let’s reheat and microwave from bucket.

It was such a meal and our server Dao (I probably spelled that wrong, sorry) was great fun! Not pushy but she made sure we had a pitcher of water as the restaurant got busy so we wouldn't be waiting for her. She helped me find something new to try and it was delicious! There was music in the background but not loud at all so we could still hear each other while we visited. Very affordable and yummy!
We will be back often!

Dietary restrictions: Very good knowing about ingredients and a great place for gluten free options.

I’ve had take out from Iyara many times but this was my first time dining in. I loved the atmosphere; very private and quiet which was ideal for conversation. The service was perfect with a very warm attitude but no hovering or unnecessary disruption and all of our dishes were quality checked. I loved the attention to detail of presentation in the matching dish-ware and the Thai music was an appreciated touch that added to the ambiance without distracting from conversation. I had the Thai iced tea which I believe is made with sweetened condensed milk and I loved it. No, this is not the food you get in Thailand but I personally appreciated the option to have more mild spice level and will definitely be back!

So terrible ! Not sure why my picture won’t upload …No flavour in these noodles. And chicken was tough. Super disappointed in the server not at least making it better for me ( either by discount or bringing me a different dish or fixing it !)
